Struggling with this more than I expected to, because it’s so much of the things I enjoy. But I think it may honestly be more about what types of stories hold my attention enough to read the book vs listen to it.

Finally reading an Emily Henry book!

🎧 My new workout entertainment! Will enjoy at a leisurely pace, but already remembering how delightful this world is!

Almost finished and like 2 things have happened. (But torn between the slow-moving plot and the fact that it’s the great details slowing it down.)

These “ribbons” make me very uncomfortable.

And TBH I’m here for Digby — he can stand guard and protect me any day.

Skimming the spice cause this plot is plotting though.

Okay this cover is not giving, but the details in the first chapters alone actually are. Will this be an excellently written book with a gripping plot AND spice?!

I don’t even care that this series is the same story over and over with different tropes. I love it.

The intentional slow burn of only reading 1-2 chapters per day is killing me so sweetly. LOVING this advent calendar reading experience!!!!

I think the last time it took me 25 days to read a book was when I was just starting to read again in early Summer 2023. 🤣
