This is for book club and I’m trying so hard but I think I hate this with my entire being.

I’ve already dnf’d a book this year and this may be the second.

Rereading my favorite series of all time, rebonding with my number 1 book boyfriend, and I couldn’t be happier. (Getting to book 2.5 and 3 now that it’s out!!!)

Actively squashing this mindset that rereads don’t count and make 2026’s reading list packed with old comforts too.

I was needing serious primal, possessive protective werewolf in my life and this is delivering on a gold platter.

Struggling with this more than I expected to, because it’s so much of the things I enjoy. But I think it may honestly be more about what types of stories hold my attention enough to read the book vs listen to it.

Finally reading an Emily Henry book!

🎧 My new workout entertainment! Will enjoy at a leisurely pace, but already remembering how delightful this world is!

Almost finished and like 2 things have happened. (But torn between the slow-moving plot and the fact that it’s the great details slowing it down.)

These “ribbons” make me very uncomfortable.

And TBH I’m here for Digby — he can stand guard and protect me any day.

Skimming the spice cause this plot is plotting though.

Okay this cover is not giving, but the details in the first chapters alone actually are. Will this be an excellently written book with a gripping plot AND spice?!

I don’t even care that this series is the same story over and over with different tropes. I love it.
