now why did i think this would just be a normal fiction about a woman rediscovering joy in life?

having to put this one on ice for a little because im genuinely not taking in a single word i fear

this may be the best book to begin a roadtrip with

the atmosphere of this book is so difficult to comprehend

the type of book you have to lean into until you start to get it. and i’m starting to get it now.

idk why i was doubting tjr on this one, her writing hits so good every time

how does camus write such pathetic characters

so far this book is doing what done and dusted only thought it did

i cant explain what is so disorienting about this book tbh

something about bk borison that always puts me in a reading slump rip

if anything bad happens to these characters im going to burn this book

starting a tjr book feels like coming home again <3

thoughts so far: this is so similar to emily wilde, and also, i wish it was written closer to emily wilde's academic journal style

the amount of british-isms shoved into this book is truly incredible

im ngl whenever i listen to audiobooks i tend to zone out every now and then, so am i picking up everything that this book is putting down? no. am i having a good time? yeah :)
