Upon advice from my hubby, I've stopped trying to focus on every single NPC's backstory and questioning whether every little nugget of info is significant or not. This has improved my reading experience so far.

I already know I need the next book because omg 😲

Ugh, I don't think this series is for me but hubby loves it and we're road tripping. Just not a fan of the endless inventory and useless details about every creature we meet and never see again. It's really starting to outweigh my love of Donut. Carl's off page conclusion thoughts piss me off too.
