Listening at 3x speed. It’s ok, it’s just not what I thought it would be. 3 stars at best if there no improvement in the second half.

I’m percentage clocking already and story feels a bit stale.

15 minutes left - if this has a happy ending, it will ring untrue - do they even like each other?

Why doesn’t this book work? Whats not quite right about it? It’s hard to tell. Is it the voice of the narrator (listening on Audible) or is the writing just surface level? There isn’t enough substance in the main two characters and their relationships?

Also it’s sooooo hard to tell when they’re in Manhattan and when in Tokyo.

Still disappointed!

Ok, so far, I’m quite bored! I’m not always sure who is narrating? And it keeps jumping from past to present and this doesn’t add anything to the story - it actually complicates it.

Really disappointed but willing to keep going.
