Admittedly I’m abandoning this about 50 pages from completion, just have to make that note here out of guilt for not finishing it. Stated strong then became so whatever

An appropriate length for the subject at hand which I can’t say the same about the rest of his books

Read alongside 2000’s Shakespeare in the park

Much too long but had some really great moments.
Great ending, even if 150 pages too late

Honestly it’s just not my thing. I’ve tried two full books and maybe I’m immune to it’s charms, but when it tries to reach it feels too mystic, and when it’s resting it just feels flat. Could have been better if I was dying.
