I love a good age gap and this had a promising start, but the endless self-pity and miscommunication made my eyes roll so hard. 2,5 stars thanks to Ilya & Hollanov moments!

Great promise, but the characters had zero chemistry and it was hard to connect or care for them. Pushed through it to finish my reading goal, otherwise would have DNF it

Loved Ryan and Fabian! Much better than the previous books, with sweet characters, hot sex, and a more mature storyline. 3.5 stars

Boring and heavy handed. Lots of “tell don’t show”, preachy writing, under developed characters and a surprising lack of commentary on race politics in old Hollywood (why is MC Latina again??). I don’t get why all those weddings “had to happen” and also did not appreciate seeing a sapphic relationship through a male gaze lens. 2,5 stars

Predictable plot with some cute domesticity and hot sex, but I hated to see them forcibly outed after everything they’ve done to protect their privacy. It should have happened in their own terms and the author’s choice felt lazy and a disservice to the couple and their story. I also didn’t like the unrealistic and disproportional reaction from their teams. I hope the show goes a better job as it did with book 1
