The book seems good so far, a little confusing but I am sure that it will all make sense later.

Dane set fire to a dead coyote and went to the hospital.

Dane likes Ophelia and I am waiting for him to realize that she likes him too.

Dane Riley is like an onion, the more layers you peel back, the more sadness you uncover.

My protagonist would relate most with the when people ask me how I'm doing poem.

Commitment- the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause, activity, etc. - I chose commitment because it is something that we all have, but we are all scared to use.

She would spend the holidays staying away from her family as much as possible and hanging out with her friends.

Vicky and the other kids went to Gabriel's house for his birthday. They had insightful conversations about their mental health and Vicky has to convince her father to let her go to Dr. Desai's ranch for a week because she doesn't think she is ready to go back home.

I rate this book 3/5 stars. I rate it this way because while it has a good story line, it is very difficult to follow due to the way it seems to jump from one time to another. I would recommend this book for other highschool students because I think it teaches you a lot about life.

In my book, she believes that showing the world her poetry is her success.

I feel like my character on stage would be wearing a pair of jeans and some sort of tight-ish shirt because she is trying to show off to her crush.

I would have Xiomara and Aman sit on a bench on the upper left side of the stage and the background would have trees and stuff because they were in a park.

Xiomara finds a flier for a poetry club at her school and takes it home with her. She doesn't think she is going to do the poetry club but deep down she wants to and she also just met a guy named Aman that she is interested in.

I thought tenth grade would be different
but I still feel like a lone shrimp
in a stream where too many are searching
for someone with a soft shell
to peel apart and crush.

Xiomara would most likely just be wearing comfortable clothes.

This is my second time reading this book and it is really good
