Have way too much to say, I feel like screaming, breaking mirrors, kicking my feet giggling, and dying from how these two make me feel...

Harder read grammatically then I expected, I'm going to try restarting to see if I can pick it up a bit better this time.

I'm super intrigued and interested in where this story will go, going in blind.

Getting spooky again... everyone knowing somethings wrong but not doing anything about it will always make me giggle

Johnathan is a mess and a half, I'm very into it now, I hope I don't lose interest...

Starting from scratch bc i got a physical copy hehe! Used books rule! Hoping to understand and get into the plot a bit more

Finished "Underground"... less of a story more philosophy rant, but really intriguing... had to read and re-read and read again multiple times but I loved it.

Theres a line that floored me, really specific to this book and mindset I want to share, will update when I find it from my notes.

So... if I'm like fully getting this correctly (hardest book I've read to date tbh) is this main character is trying to express some kind of yin/yang... pleasure in pain/pain in pleasure... oh and he lives underground.

Really wanted another silly cooking/food related read after the Bourdain read, giving this one a go!

very good book but needs the time and patience to understand and enjoy fully, too much else on the list to read before starting journeys like this one

The last chapter was a tad confusing?

Lot's of new names and convos around Mina, will probably reread before moving forward.

Literally so fun to just listen to stories like this, im rooting for you !!! (he already passed)

Books like these are so fun, gothic lit always gets me with the way they describe these barren or old places.

Trapped in a castle like that would be cool for like an hour and then freak me the hell out

I am getting closer and closer to finishing this project and honestly don't want too, anyone have book recs that are in a similar style? I don't want to let this go :,-(

I adored this glimpse into Tove's childhood, finishing that section felt very definitive, every chapter felt new and alive and young... excited for "Youth" next!
