Ooo things are starting to get rolling now...

If nothing else strikes my heart like this poem, the book will have been worth it.

2020 Reading goals = less self-imposed pressure. I'm going to start up studying again, and I want my read-for-pleasure hobby to cause me little stress. I'm also trying to 'own' the fact that I read a lot of LGBT+ romance when the world is getting me down. Judge me if you want, but sometimes you just want people to fall in love, dammit!

Oh my lord, this book would have to mess up so bad for it not to land at the top of my favourite books this year. It is goddamn beautiful.

I'm not in love with this book... If I didn't have a problem with quitting things before they were done, I'd probably DNF it.

This book is so good - I'm fascinated! And a little ashamed at my lack of prior knowledge.

Oooff. My heart!

Oh god I think I've made a mistake. Stilted dialogue (perhaps a bad translation?), definitive statements without challenge and/or without sources... "Trauma isn't real" - sure buddy, sure. I think this will be one of the VERY few books I don't finish... even before I'm 5% in.

This has been my morning commute read... but I think I might need to invest even more time - it’s really intriguing!

Ok so this is a GOOD book... my breath keeps getting caught in my throat.

I'm far more invested in this one than I thought I'd be.

Music and Freedom is getting me down - so I'm interrupting with this lovely, comforting book. <3

Really well written, but very hard to read about this experience.
