The way im ugly crying at a damn novel. Went through a really rough life event and its hard finding my self worth again. Im not expecting to find any answers but its nice knowing you can just feel like total shit and breathe

Sure

Dang, you dont read trash everyday, but when you do, its baddddddd

Yeah this is really not doing it for me. Its proficient at fitting a ton of popular tropes into a genre but its not actually doing anything. At best, this is a comfort read.

Did really like the scene between Ben and Lucy on the balcony, it was really sweet and the romance in this has been so forced so far but for once it felt real

I really wish I could enjoy stuff like this the way others can but I cant. Its pure trope slop mixed with tonal dissonance.

Undoubtedly one of the most tone deaf novels ive ever read. It wants to be a cute romance but also a gristly mystery. It fails at both so far, but maybe im the problem.

I dont know, I just get the feeling this is the literary equivalent of a straight to netflix film. Meant to be released for a quota, not to be consumed

Remarkably uninteresting so far. Like a sick amalgam of every trope that perverts the genre smushed into a disgusting ball of mediocrity.
