Really excited to read this because it’s a Taylor Jenkins Reid book ofc, but also because its about space!!

Wow. I can’t help but wanting to know lore about greek mythology, when reading this book. I really love how Madeline Miller takes this very black and white myth and turn it into a nuanced morally grey story instead. I was sucked into this book. It’s not beautiful like The song of Achilles, but it has it’s own thing.

Now it's getting interesting. I've researched a bit about the real life history that inspired this book, and I've gotten so much more respect for this piece.

I really enjoy reading about Kentucky and the society there.

Im actually really enjoying this, but It's very heavy and a bit hard to get through.

This is a whole new chapter for me. I actually didn't really know that much about USA's history for the common people, so I'm really enjoying reading about it!

This is actually so good! I love that you get to know the US countryside in the 1930’s! I have really missed reading historical fiction, so im enjoyed this particularly much :)

This might be one of the most macabra fantasy books I have ever read. And I have read MANY.
But that is also one of the things that make this book so amazing. It tells the truth, even though it's so horrible.

This book is good, but also a bit weird! Buuut it's written by John Green, so what did I expect? :)

When I saw this book for the first time, I thought it was a complicated high fantasy without feelings. And I was right, it is a high fantasy book. But oh I was so wrong for thinking this was without feeling. I adore these kind of fantasy books. <3

It's a very complex universe, but it's so well done! It really makes the story so amazing.
