just started the algorithm really knows me chapter and I like it. the kpop example of extensive fanilect (aegyo, bias, sasaeng) is very interesting. crazy to see how vast content exists that never makes your fyp

like lowkey this is kind of a hard read. his social media posts are really good and engaging but this feels a little bit dense / like there’s too much going on. it’s very early in the book so I’ll give it a chance

so I picked this book up and I can’t stop reading? literally started reading unaccustomed earth right before this, read 20 pages and couldn’t keep going. but this — I’m hooked so far

even though this is for like middle schoolers, ive really enjoyed this book so far. easy read very cute story. i like the fact that elizabeth’s mom is an immigrant too. and the mention of the struggles of having a traveling parent felt very relatable to my childhood.
