I’m at the part with Bella just saved Edward from exposing him as a vampire. I do wonder how Bella and Jake’s relationship going to be when they get back to America.

My favorite character at the moment is Lady Jessica. I love how she LOVES Paul. Her motherly instincts keeping them alive. I really love how she responds to the duke. She’s so smart :)

Started this morning. It’s audiobook. I’m actually enjoying the audio book and they have different voice actors for each character. 🤠
I really like the political elements of the story so far. Paul is my favorite character so far.

This is a beautiful book. Not too sure if I have the heart to finish it. The story about grief is too much, makes me super depressed every time I read it. Micheal, Ellis, and even Anas story is so sad. 💔

I cannot believe that Micheal died with aids. This actually has given me a perspective of what the AIDS epidemic was actually like. So sad. :/

I am really enjoying listening to this story. It’s a more realistic version of Call me by your name. I really am enjoying hearing the relationship between Ellis and Micheal. I love how it’s blossomed right after Ellis mom passed away.
What made my heart jump was when Ellis dead had suspensions.
I also enjoy the relationship of the painting and his mom.

It’s very cool to see the relationship between Jacob and Bella develop. I know Bella claims she doesn’t like Jacob more than a brother, but there’s certain things that are crazy. Like when she was hanging on every word after she had the stomach flu and called Jacob.

This quote is super funny to me, “Many of the words they used were unfamiliar to me, and I figured I’d have to have a Y chromosome to really understand the excitement.” Pg. 139

It was so interesting how Meyer explained how Bella felt when Edward broke up or left. I really enjoyed how we don’t really know how long she was in the woods for. I’d say more than a day because there was a search party or that there was a search party earlier bc of Charlie being a cop. There is so much depth.

I’m at the point where Bella is freaking out that Edward will have to leave because of the fall. I think she might be overreacting bc it didn’t seem like a big deal. The only thing that seems drastic is Jasper leaving with Alice.

September 13 is Bella’s birthday.
Bella is lowkey annoying about her birthday. Ending of Chapter one is INSANE. I’m predicting that this is when she turns into a vampire or Edward had to fight everyone off of Bella…we will see 🙈
