Fuck this book sucks and it's WAY TOO FUCKING LONG. It had so much potential and I was looking forward to the longing and angst. But alas, Sloane goes from a controlling father, to a controlling fiancé to Jasper who HAS TO BE IN CONTROL AT ALL TIMES. Seriously how fucked up is this woman that she can't just be her own fucking person for a minute without being told what to do by a man including when she can come? LAME

This book is so annoying and is a total self fulfilling prophecy. Tori knows the optics aren't good, even after her former mentor went through the same thing, but still hooks up with Zayden anyways. I'm finishing it because it's due but it's definitely not one of my favourites by Kendall Ryan. Basically the whole romance was a foregone conclusion. Such a stupid story.

This book is a complete waste of time. Not sure how it has the rating it does, but it might be a DNF for me. There are so many things wrong with this book.
