little bitty tiny critique in the dialogue... it sounds a bit more stilted than normal? like everything they say wants to be quotable 😭 its still incredible and I cant beleive i put off reading this for TWO YEARS??? SHALLAN AND ADOLIN?? and KALADIN IS AMAZING IN THIS OMG

dalinar pisses me off "i have set us on a collision course with destiny" while watching the mountains from a tower in full uniform. like why are you so corny its ok to have bad posture 😭

THIS IS SO FUNNY LMAO WHY IS HE ON THE PLANET RICOTTA TO FIND THE EVIL SCARY SITH SECRETS but actually this is really good... I'm very much enjoying this read both as a fan and as a general story but it takes itself so seriously it honestly adds to the experience like yes darth bane go do more evil and yes baby you're so dark and evil and powerful and strong

This is the corniest thing I've read in years and I'm devouring it. Details that contribute to the lore have me so riveted while I'm deeply aware how obviously evil everything is like yall really named your ships "fury" and "rage" and bane is acting like this is the solution to everything. I'm giggling so hard but I love every second.

Honestly a really interesting insight so far into a life I know next to nothing of, and as a Catholic, I find it interesting how the book sets a ground precedent for every community while each community has their own structure and is guided by different people independently of each group, so I'm curious on as to how they maintain the same practices without overall standards other than their book.

omgg omg i ended up falling in live with the physical copy and i restarted but this was actually amazing. i was giggling and smiling the whole last few chapters like literally i love darcy and elizabeth and lady catherine and jane and lizzy and her and her dad and jane and bingley and what the book had to say about like society through their characters and ughh it was so good

I’m starting the audiobook and this is the first time in liking the audiobook more than the actual book. I’m LOVING the narrator

There’s so many little plot holes it’s crazy. I havent actively read percy jackson in three years and i find myself like “wait that should be impossible” based on what has been solidly established as rules in the universe. If you break them there has to be an explanation for why.

😭😭why is this knock-off house of hades? also theres almost no new monsters, everything they kill was killed by percy, even tho they’re in a home for all monsters??

I have big hopes for this book but I hope uncle rick doesn’t overdo it and make it a romance instead of an adventure. also nicos giving off not-like-the-other-boys energy in the first four pages i’ve read 💀 (i’m the son of hades I don’t live by the rules, and “Nico assumed he did not have a heart” babe what happened to percy and bianca??

No but why is mr collins hilarious. like he just starts talking for at least a half a page unprompted and everyone stares at him

Mr collins needs to stop choosing who he’s hitting on: jane lizzie or lady catherine. also even tho i’ve seen most of the (NOT KIERA KNIGHLEY) movie I have no idea AT ALL if eliza ends up with darcy

Absolutely in love with the narration, kinda reminds me of how I think Wit from way of kings should write, and the worlds are stunning ✨
