The inciting incident in my book is when Texas says that they want to be free from Mexico. I know this because at the start of my book it talked a lot about how war might brake out, and latter on it did. This affected Lucinda and her family because her brother, and her uncle fought in the war, and won the first time but died in the second. Also her other brother went to help but was captured.

This book is written from the point of view of the first person. I know this because she constantly says "I" in the story. She also talks about how her struggles and challenges.

The setting is in New York. They were originally from Russia. They live

The genres of my book are mystery and realistic fiction. I know that my book is a mystery because strange things keep happening that are hard to figure out right away, it takes some hard thinking for Rebecca and Ana to figure who poisoned Olivia Berry. This book is realistic fiction because this is something that can happen in real life, and it is possible that something like that could just randomly happen.

This book so far is very interesting. It is about a girl named Rebecca and her cousin Ana looking for an acting job. But, Ana becomes rubbed the wrong way when their boss makes them spys and is worried that Rebecca's mistake will cost her her family's income.
