Pretty awesome!!!

The characters are incredibly written, and I love the way the monsters are described. I am a longtime lover of horrific fantasy, and this book scratches that itch perfectly. On top of this, as someone who is ace, the representation is accurate. The longing for touch but not in that way is beautifully described. Along with that, the POC characters mentioned don't feel forced.

Pretty good so far, but I’m pretty sure that Alex was an accomplice to murder.

Very wordy, but highly interesting and intuitive

So far this book is fantastic! I love the main character as she is a not so dumb blonde who truly loves her diamonds. She also has this certain sense of humor that truly makes me laugh.

It’s good, but not super insane.

Im enjoying it much more now that she’s not making miserable decisions every page. And GAWD DAYMN. That festival situation was something I didn’t expect. Like 👀. Also I’m glad she’s finally falling for him. It took actually forever and the slow burn wasn’t worth it, but they’re chemistry is pretty good.

I fucking hate the main character. She is a complete idiot. Her family treated her like shit but she misses them? She doesn’t listen to anything anyone says? Trusts the guy who said that he wanted her dead more than the guy who is keeping her from dying in many instances? The fuck? She’s irritating and I just deeply dislike her. At this rate, I’m not finishing the series.
