I’m finding this book surprisingly moreish. Surprising because I found Persuasion impossible to read. Perhaps I’ll need to give it another go.

Yellowbelly and The Ossuary are my favourites so far.

just finished the second book in the collection, Grace and Miss Partridge- LOVED IT - excited for the last book now

really really enjoying “The Boy Who Wanted Peace”. The way the sentences are constructed in this book make me feel so inadequate as a writer but I love that in a book.

this will be a slow read. one, because i’m constantly having to look up the definition of words that i’ve never heard of before but that immediately i have to scribble down because they’re just so deliberate in the sense they deliver. second, because for the first time, i am using a highlighter
