Summery: So far in the book their has been a lot happening. Their is a students named Lee and Sarah and they are best friends. The first thing that happens is that a their was a shooting at a high school and 9 people died. Sarah was one of the 9 kids that died. She died in the bathroom right in front of Lee. Than 5 months later all of the students come back to school. Everyone but 1 girl named Kellie.

The 7 story Archetypes: I think that this book is a tragedy. The main character was kidnapped and then she solved her own case and found biological family. Now she is trying to find her kidnapper in Colorado. That is why I think it is a tragedy.

Protagonist: In this book there are 1 main character, but their is a character that is a close second. The main character is named Janie and the close second is named. I think that she is the main character because all the bad things happens to her.

Supporting Characters: Their are a lot of supporting Characters in this book. The names of them all are Jodie, Stephen, Brian, Miranda. They are all supporting characters from this book. Well those are all of the supporting characters that I can think of at the top of my head.

5 types of conflict: I think their is only 1 type of conflict in this book. I think the type of conflict in this book is Character VS Character. I know this because the main characters Janie and Reeve yell at each other because Reeve did something stupid.

It was a great book

Point of View: Their are 3 different types of points of views. In this book I think the point of view is 1st person. I think this because their are 2 main characters and they both don't know how each other feels. Also, they are in 2 different states hundreds of miles away from each other. That is the point of view of the book I am reading.

Characterization: right now the Main character Janie, Jodie and Brian. They all fell very upset because someone that they trusted told every one their biggest secret. That brought up some dark times for them and they now all hat a character named reeve. That is how the characters feel right now.

Setting: Their are a lot of setting in this book. I thing the top 2 pick is Janie's room and the collage studio that Reeve works at. The reason why I picked those is because 95% of the time that is the setting.

Inciting Incident: i just started this book. I think that the inciting incident is that a character named reeve is usually not scared of any thing but what he did that day was different. He got scared of not being able to talk. It says that he was scared because he had nothing to say he was speechless. That is what I think is the Inciting Incident.

The 7 story archetypes: I think that the archetype is overcoming the monster. my evidence is that she finds a milk carton and it has a picture of her face on it. She is trying to solve her own case and trying to see if those people are her real parents are not. " She tried to imagine her mom as a kidnapper, rushing into shopping mall and jerking little girls off soda fountain stools." That is my actual evidence.

Supporting Characters: In this book their are 4 supporting characters. Their names are Aron, Dr. Leidy, ambrose, and Mrs. H. they all help the main character Charlie. They are all a good influence to Charlie.

Visualize: it this update i am going to talk about the scene i visualized. The scene that i visualized is a scene of this kid named charlie got in trouble and was sent into the basement. I pictured a little boy with freckles, a mom with brunet hair and a dad with black hair sending his son into the basement.

Characterization: I pick What the Character feels. I picked this one because his best friend Leslie just died and he feels very angry and sad at the same time. At first he was confused and he thought that some one just made a awful joke. but then he went to the service and was crying. He finally knew that it was real when they said that they cremated her and was going to bring her to Pennsylvanian.

Antagonist: I think that Jess is the antagonist. i think he is the antagonist because he try's to stop some of the stupid thing that Leslie and May Bell does. that is who i think is the antagonist.

Genre: I think the genre is realistic fiction. I know that the book is not a true story. Also all things that are happening in the book can happen in real life. Some kids do the same things in the book as they would do in real life. That is how I know the book is realistic fiction.

Static vs Dynamic: The static is Jack and the dynamic is celeb. In the book it said that they celeb hated jack but know celeb is best friends with them.
I know this because it says it in the book.

Asking Questions: I have been wondering did langdon take jacks parents?
i think this was true because he has been acting suspicious and was not letting jack and his friends look look for his parents in all the mines that Langdon owns. That is my question and that is my answer.

Protagonist: The protagonist is Jack. the reason why i think that he is the protagonist because he makes most of the decisions like he said that they need to go to the police station or how he tells them to check is they have bars so they can call someone. This means that he like to make decisions for him self. The only time people make decisions for him is when he is confused or when he does not know what to do.

Prediction: I predict that the main character Jess with win the race and will be the fastest boy in 5th grade. My evidence is that he wakes up early every day to practice running and getting faster. Also, it says that it finally happened but they did not specify what finally happened.

Type of conflict: I think the type of conflict is character vs character. I think that it is character vs character is because the main characters parents are missing. A group of people took them and they are trying to get them back. That is why i think it is character vs character.

The point of view for this book is first person. I know this is first person because at the back of the book it tanks about the main character. Another reason why I think it is first person is It says "I".

Setting: the part of the book at picked to write about is the rain forest in The Democratic Republic of Congo. They are in the middle of the rain forest trying to find a bunch of bad guys. I was night and their was a bunch of bugs and a few people could not sleep so they just stayed up the whole time.

Genre: i think their is only 1 genre. I think the genre is realistic fiction. I think this is realistic fiction because they are talking about animals and they are on a hike but i think it is fiction because there are a bunch of people with guns.

this book is very interesting. so far this book is slow. i am very excited when it gets faster.
