as a hunger games fan I really like it and find all the characters interesting. I’m lowkey sad that all of them are dying even tho I knew they all would 😭 i definitely didn’t spend like three hours reading this today lol

I thought this book would be the worse thing ever, but it’s not. I actually enjoy the simple dialogue based writing style and the iceberg theory is fun if you’re not being graded on analyzing it in English class, which I am. Anyways, according to bill the civil war happened bc Lincoln was in love with general grant and that’s officially in my history canon

okokokok i think i this is my fav class Nobel this year so far. Like im definitely interested in how this book is anti slavery and stuff. ALSO I HAVE THEORIES!
-Pap represents a southerner
-huck being able to rest shows the shift in tone
-Pap not changing and remaining a piece of dookie is representative of realism bc it shows ppl aren’t rlly good deep down
