The 7 Story Archetypes: My story would be a mix between The Quest and Voyage. Frodo, Sam , Pippin, and Mary go along with Frodo to help him destroy the ring at Mount Doom. They face many obstacles and threats on the way there so far. They have already encountered the black horse riders that came from Mordor.

Prediction: One prediction that I have is that when they will be going through the Misty Mountains they will meet up with Gollem and destroy the ring with him. Another one that I have is one of the Hobbits Frodo,Pippin, and Sam are going to die at the end. They are probably going to die from and Ork, Spider, or goblin.

Visualize: Some sense that I have experienced reading this book would be sound. During Bilbo 111th birth day, he says," I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve." I can tell how he said with all kidding aside. A scene that I can visualize would have to be when Gandalf stands up from the table and yells at Bilbo for not letting up the ring.

Genre: The genre of The Lord of the Rings is mainly adventure fiction to heroic fantasy. It is most definitely more than one because the book changes with, for example romance or battles, and including adventure. Also has characteristics such as high fantasy, this mainly meaning that this book has its own language and unique characters! Some of theses characters include orks, hobbits, dwarfs, elves, and goblins.

Characterization: The character that i will be following is Gandalf. Gandalf feels that Frodo Baggins should wait to use the ring until the time comes. Gandalf does cool magic with his pipe and creates cool animals with it. Sometimes he is very cautious wise because he has much knowledge of the world. Gandalf thinks strategically about when or where something should happen.

Setting: The place and time is in the Shire( for right now) and mostly middle earth and is right after Bilbo's 111th b-day. The Shire is smack dab in the middle of Eriador and left of the Misty Mountains. This land is mostly made up of hills forest and rivers and some mountains west and a lake north. Keep on going East and end up at Rivendell ( where Elrond is).

The inciting incident is at the beginning when Gandalf invites Bilbo to go on this life changing journey. It first changed him as a person because he used to sit in his Hobbit hole almost the entire day and go outside for a little bit basically just wanting to stay at home and do nothing with any one. It also changed him by getting a hold of the ring. He is starting to get a little protective of the ring.

The Hobbit is inevitably The Quest because The protagonist which is Bilbo meets up with Gandalf and the 13 dwarfs. Then, all of them set out on a quest for reclaiming the Arkenstone stone for Thorin to reclaim the mountain that Smaug is living in(Lonely Mountain). Before they arrive at Lonely Mountain they fight trolls, goblins, some Elves,Huge spiders, orks, and a necromancer.

A major character that helps Bilbo is Gandalf. His purpose and reason for in the story is that he wanted Bilbo to go on the adventure to go kill Smaug. Gandalf in my opinion he has wisdom, loyalty, and conscience because he makes smart decisions and it always there when you need him to.

Visualize: The stone-giants were fighting in The Mountain path after Thorin spoke with lord Elrond."He saw that across the valley the stone-giants were out, and were hurling rocks at one another for a game"(p.53-55/p. 54 is a picture of The Mountain path). The keywords that helped me visualize the scene were," hurling rocks at one another for a game.

The connection that I made with me was that when Bilbo didn’t want to go on the adventure/journey with Gandalf and the dwarfs, he was kind of unsure. This relates to me because when I have to do chores or something I am not wanting to do it.

In my book the main character Bilbo Baggins is my favorite. He is smart, funny, and sometimes brave. One funny quote is, "Well, I do have some skill at conkers, if you must know." One of the brave quotes that he has said is, “All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost.”

The antagonist in my story would be Smaug the terrifying dragon that keeps away his or her gold kept away at The Lonely Mountain. The dragon wants to keep the dwarfs under kingdom under her control.

The Hobbit is a fantasy fiction. I can tell that The Hobbit is a fantasy fiction because it talks about made up characters that are, or resemble made up characters'. Some characters that I know make this story fantasy fiction are the Hobbits and the dwarfs.

The dynamic character in my book is the main character Greg. During his time at Hardscrabble Farms he was taught to fix and build using his grandfathers book on survival. When he was tolled to make a fire with no lighters he read his book and eventually got a fire going and surprised all of his cabin mates.

Some questions for my book is that have are why is Greg going to the farm. Another question is why is his friends capturing a fish from the river. He also hates his dad because He sent him to the farm to do labor for free. In conclusion my book is really weird

Greg Hefley is a lazy teenager that loves to play video games. He has a pretty sad life because thinks that the only things to do in life is disobey his mom. His appearance is shrimp and tired all the time.

My prediction is that Grampa will move out of the house. I can infer this because Dad is getting mad at him because he is have parties every single time dad is at work. Another reason why I think this is because Grampa is also using Mom's bath robe.

In the story,"Dairy of a Wimpy Kid: Old school", the conflict right know is that his grampa moved in. This is troubling for Greg because His grampa picked his room to stay in and now he has to sleep on the floor. This is weird for Greg because His house has a lot of people in his house and is not used to sharing.

The setting takes place either at school or Greg's house most of the time. One specific scene is when Greg is the shag for his soccer team and goes for the ball every single time it goes out of bounds.
