Cinder does seem to be a little more immature than she had been in the previous books but that could be due the seriousness surrounding her new responsibility accelerating at a faster pace than the character can develop + she is still just 16 but it’s still annoying to see her argue with 10/10 solid advice. (Not the time for teenage lip cinder!) BUT the romance between Thorne and Cress is just so precious!

Semi spoiler warning: I’m really annoyed by Cinder’s actions so far when she ignored the painfully obvious trap to save Throne, one person, and ended up risking everyone, herself, and essentially all of earth. Not to mention disrespecting everyone who had died for her to get so far. Ugh, Cinder pull it together for crying out loud! 😭

I love this quote from Scarlet, it really shows the character’s heart.
