I love this authors insight to life and the little idiosyncrasies that make us human.

I’ve decided “barking” is one of my least favorite descriptive words and I don’t have much respect for the editors of this authors books because someone should have told her to look at a thesaurus.

“You don’t realize how much you’ll miss the asphyxiating intimacy of early parenthood until you can finally breathe again.” Oof, that hit home.

Whyyy must we keep using the same descriptive words over and over again? “Lazy smile” and “shell of my ear” are driving me crazy.
