But I’m liking this a lot more than I thought I would … I read the serpent and the wings of the night so long ago that I forgot what significance Vale and Lilith hold except that they knew raihn, but the tension between them is 🥵 trying to finish this tonight

Having a hard time with this not going to lie… but we persevere 🥲

Definitely some large vocab words that I may or may not be having to work out on my own because I’m not reading it on my kindle but not enough to put me off lol…seems like the starting of a great book and it’s super inclusive and real with the main character is an immigrant from Jamaica which is different a nice . We have a rival character already, and weird Déjà vu moments… definitely liking it so far

I’m liking it I just find it hard to remember the vocabulary said at the very beginning of the book so I’m left guessing what they mean holding I’m right 😅😭

Why am I rooting for Blake?!!! Ugh I know him and Aurora are end game it’s just obvious now they just have to go through a bunch of shit and go from enemies and I think they are fated

Ummm if I was worried that this book was going to be YA in the first part… I was crazy to think that that “scene” in this second part was a hard and gross read, didn’t enjoy and wanted to cry reading it but i guess it’s important to the story, also I think this is where everything starts turning for the better

Is Rafe this shadowy stranger? It kinda of makes sense but then also doesn’t because he doesn’t act weird around her in person??
And how does the headmaster fall into this I thought for a minute it was going to be a professor trope
And I just LOVE Conner but I know they’re not supposed to end up together cause he’s the sweet blonde, 🥲and it’s always the dark broody hair that they end up with
