Making Connections: Based on my book I can text to self based because this book and my life have a similar connection."I open a letter and find my Principle.This is Principle Campbell and I am here to announce that you have made the Basketball Team.Your Family and School is very Proud of you".(Page 31) This has a similar connection to be because I have also made the Basketball team in my own life at the Ymca Camp.

Protagonist: Alexander is a kid who is In middle school and Alexander believes that his teacher Mr.Goodluck is not teaching him the right things.
"Dad I think Mr.Goodluck is not teaching me the right things and he is always rude.Don't be silly Alex your fine.But dad.There is no but's in this family now go to bed now"(Page 28) This shows that Alex is the Protagonist because his dad doesn't see Alex's Problem.

SETTING: Sally is dedicated to finding Mr.Zavodsky on Miami Beach because Sally beliefs that Mr.Zavodsky is Hitler in disguise.She was so dedicated to find Mr.Zavodsky that she wrote a letter to the Police Office."Dear Chief I have found Adolf Hitler near Miami Beach on 1330 Pennsylvania Avenue.Please send detectives to help me Thanks From: Sally J Freeman.(Pg 297) This shows that the Setting is in Miami Beach.

Visualize: Sally hates Hitler after learning about him and now Sally's mission is to find Hitler in Miami and report him to the police."Sally figures out that Mr.Zavadsky is Hitler in disguise.Sally reports Mr.Zavadsky to the police and later Sally gets the medal of honor from the police."(Pg 210) From my quote I can really Visualize the sounds and feelings from Sally after she reports Mr.Zavadsky to the police.

Characterization: In my book Sally is in a dream but later wakes up because of a nightmare."Sally was caught by Hitler from a war. Hitler demanded to know were the Jews were.But Sally did not reply.Hitler started cutting Sally's hair,toes and hands without having pain"(Pg 104-105)This shows that Sally is tough because she feels no pain and her actions shows that she is loyal to the Jews.

Make Predictions: Douglass is a normal boy who goes to school except one day Douglass gets hurt and is put into a cast.Judy wants to know what happened but her mom and dad wont tell her."Why can't I see Douglass I promise I won't touch him I promise I just want to see him."(Page 26)Based on this information I think Douglass got hurt in a life or death situation which is why Douglass' parents wont show his injury.

Point of View: This story is told from 3rd person limited from the Noah's Point of View."My heart pounds and I wonder if I should kiss her Walt says I should but I don't know if I should"(Pg 331) Noah Understands the feelings of at least two people himself and his friend Walt but he does not know the feelings of Sam.This shows that this is 3rd person limited because Noah only knows the feelings of one character.

Genre: I believe my book genre is romance.I believe this is true because Noah keeps sending letters to her girl best friend anonymously."Noah I feel like a sunshine because someone keeps seeding me letters,Can I see it I, say like I didn't draw the letter last night.Dear love the things that matter u u u u u u u u then everything else"(Pg 194 and 195) This shows that my book genre is romance.

Inciting Incident: In my book people are trying to figure out what happened to a mystery plane that crashed after coming down from outer space . Most people think its a flying saucer. Until a person named Anderson Friedman said "I saw a five year old boy that looked like a alien"(Pg 136 to 137) This shows that this is a narrative event that is launching the main action.

ARCHETYPES: The main character is Rudy and he is currently on a Quest to stop segregation."If we serve Negroes in here,we lose our jobs the guard told her so Rudy went home thirsty .His mom was hoping Rudy wouldn't remember because he was so young but he did (pg 24) From that point on Rudy wanted to end segregation and show that colored people can be with white people and have the same rights.
