God this page really breaks my heart for the both of them. Why is it that every man says “another life?” Or “another time?” I can feel how she felt in that moment.

I thought some of the things she said in the past about dance for instance was because she wanted to do it but it was for him. It makes me kind of sad but I understand why and I probably would’ve done the same thing

When she talked about how he took pills for speed, it really shows that he didn’t want to be in his thoughts so the only way was to speed everything up. The movie Elvis really showed that and this confirmed it and also told why he did that.

I can really feel the excitement they felt and the happiness, I’m so happy he was able to come back and be able to show his true self again. This book is so descriptive and you can feel the emotions they are feeling.

I feel bad once again, I hate that he did that to her. He made the decision to not have safe sex and this was the outcome, I get it that he was worried but he shouldn’t care and should worry about Priscilla and the baby. I wish they would have communicated more.

I feel bad for Priscilla since she was so young but I’m glad Elvis was there to support her and whatever she wanted to do.

This is a cute story about how she wanted to make lasagna for Elvis. It’s sweet how he still ate the raw pasta for her and so did everyone. I think this might be one of my favorite stories from Priscilla.

He really just walked up to this man and karate kicked him, I can’t stop laughing this is hilarious. Imagining Elvis doing this is taking me out.

He is gaslighting or guilt trippin her into learning about these philosophies by telling her that if she didn’t then any other woman would. That it’s hateful and disrespectful to her, she put up through a lot of stuff for him.

“Two pissholes in the snow” is crazy

He shouldn’t have tried to “train” her, it’s manipulative. He should be able to make her feel safe and not feel crazy. Elvis acts like my dad and it makes me feel bad for Priscilla, I kind of understand how she feels. She did not deserve that at all.

Seeing all the photos was just crazy, it’s hard to imagine these photos were real. Also I get that they didn’t have a label on what they were but he told her to stay clean for him and that she was his. Then why would he go and be romantically involved with his co-stars. It wasn’t fair to her.

I’m glad he realized he scared her and hurt her. He should’ve listened to her and stopped taking the pills, he would probably still be here. I do believe that pills can make you more violent, especially with pills back then that aren’t developed as much today. I wish he listened to her.

I get it that she didn’t give him time to recover from the pillow fight but if he is throwing them harder she’s going to do the same. She thought she could do the same, she was just a kid trying to have fun.

I get that she wanted to be like him and do what she thought was right and hell I would probably do the same but she was so young. She shouldn’t have took those pills. I get that Elvis said he wasn’t dependent on pills but he was. If he wanted to sleep then it was placidyls. Want to be up? Then it’s Dexedrine. He shouldve set a good example and get a responsible sleep schedule.

She talks about wanting to care for him and i totally understand that, I love when I can take care of someone. I guess it’s the “motherly instinct in any woman”. He would get upset if something wasn’t right like his steak and would blame it on her. She said later on she realized he had a lot on him and was taking a lot of medications as well. When I watched Elvis you can really see his life was very hectic.

Bro this book is making me want a man that will talk to me the way he does cause lordddd

I’m really enjoying this book. When I first opened it I was worried I would get bored but I can’t put it down at all. It’s crazy how detailed it is, I really love the way she writes.
