So, I was initially really intrigued by the story and the characters. There is a bit of a rush pace when it comes to the plot and the way the story unfolds. The trials for the queen are over in a blink and then you're just thrown into the next thing. It feels a bit rushed. The phrase "as if" is overly used. I'm reading it on a kindle. I searched. That phrase is used 102 times in the book currently at the 53rd.

I'm 4 Chapters in and I feel like his story flows really well. He has always been a private person but does give some insight to his childhood and family. I know some reviews have said they didn't feel he was open enough I feel like there is enough there to understand. There are many ways I can sympathize and empathize with the words that are there. I may be bias as he has always been my favorite actor.

The plot keeps me interested enough but sometimes the dialogue jumps around it feels like and the characters don't really seem fully developed. This is book 2 and I'll finish the series. I like the supernatural aspects of it I just wish the characters had better personality

The story definitely keeps me intrigued and im excited to see how it unfolds
