One interesting part of the book was when Zachary taught Joe to do a handstand. After Joe commented on how he liked Zachary's dimples, he asked him to teach him a handstand. And he did it! In the text it says, "Really? Sure! It took, like forever, but I finally managed to do one." (186) This proves that Zachary taught Joe how to do a handstand for the first time.

One funny part was when Joe mentioned that his first work was poo.He found out after he interviewed his parents.It's nothing inappropiate because he had a Winnie the Pooh doll he carried around as a kid.In the text it says, "I know what you're thinking, but you are so wrong. It was because I had a Winnie-the-Pooh doll that I took everywhere with me." This proves that he got the word poo from the Winnie the Pooh doll.

One funny part was when the book mentions a video tape of Joe dressed up and fell in high heels. According to the book Joe was dressed up in high heels walking around the house. In the text it says, "Anyway, every time we show this video it's a real crowd-pleaser--up until the part where I fall down the stars and my father keeps taping." (56). This proves that Joe fell down the stars and his father kept filming.

One funny part is when Joe mentioned that his friend who was a girl didn't have Barbies but he did. As younger kids Addie and Joe would go over each other's house. As Joe went to her room to play with Lego's he noticed that Addie didn't have Barbies and he had at least 7. In the text it says, "I was four and not even a girl, and I had seven Barbies, at least." Showing that he had seven and that Addie had no Barbies.

One favorite part was when Connor took charge of the Graveyard. After the explosion at Happy Jack Connor went back to the Graveyard to take control and to start protests to end unwinding. In the text it stated," 'They let us stay here because they don't see us as a threat." And then Connor smiles. 'Well we're going to change that.'" This shows that Connor is speaking to the new incomers and about ending unwinding.

one sad part is when the Admiral was transported to the hospital because of a heart attack. While the others were trying to get to the Admiral he was having a heart attack and needed to be transported to the hospital. In the text it said, "They climb the steel steps. The mayhem, like a human tsunami pounding toward her." (256) This proves that the kids were trying to bust in to attack the Admiral in his jet.

One interesting part was when Connor and Risa were both flying in a box in a plane flying to the Graveyard. After staying at a warehouse for a while all of the kids there were shoved into boxes full of four people. In the text it said, "Why he and the others have been warehoused so close to an airport. Wherever they're going, they're going by air cargo." (162) This shows that they are being transported by air cargo.

One surprising part was when Risa is pinned against a wall from Ronald, and then when Connor walks in and he does nothing. Risa in a bathroom was pinned to a wall by Ronald. Shortly after Connor walks in, but does nothing and is just there to wash his hands. In the text it says, "Connor makes no move to tear him away. He just stands there on the threshold." This shows that Connor did nothing to get Ronald away.

The three main characters, Connor, Lev, and Risa. An important part of the sory is when after Lev pulled the fire alarm to try and turn Connor and Risa in to be unwounded. A crowd of high school students left Lev behind and Connor and Risa to an antique shop owned by Sonia who will help them. There they meet three other kids who escaped to be unwounded named Roland, Hayden, and Mai.

One important part was when Connor, Lev, and Risa meet during a bus crash. Connor is the one who caused it, he drag Lev as a hostage and leaves for the woods. Risa meets them there and they all team up. In the text it says, " Yet there's already a path of broken branches and parted shrubs made by the girl who ran from the bus." Connor dragging Lev sees Risa and they team up to run away from the Juvy Cops behind them.

An important part was when he got the jacket. When Gary went to his room he found his new ugly jacket on his bed. In the story it said, "I wanted to cry, it was ugly and I knew I had to wear it for a long time." (1) This proves that he really dislikes the jacket.
