On page 289 it disturbing how the doctors talk to people while they're unwinding them. When Roland was being Unwound, The nurse was saying it was horrible what his stepfather and mother did to him, which was having him unwound for protecting his mother from the abusive step father. This is disturbing because they're saying this while unwinding or basically killing him for what he did..

On page 256 its surprising that Roland snitched on Conner and Risa telling the hospital staff that they're runaway Unwinds, this would put all of them at risk of being unwound and was not a very smart move by him. Roland has always disliked Connor and Risa but I never thought he'd go s far as snitching on himself in order to get them unwound.

On page 193 it surprises me that they ship the unwind kids to the graveyard through cargo boxes, where at least 5 kids die of suffocation, and when they get off they have to get jobs assigned at the graveyard and work for the admiral until they're 18 and free. Problems start to arise and the kids start to become suspicious of the admiral.

My favorite part was On page 161 the last page of the chapter, Lev is negotiating with a pawnbroker about a very expensive necklace, he even tells him how he's an runaway unwind, the pawnbroker attempts to sell it to him for way less them its worth, Lev says no and the Pawnbroker threatens to call the police and get him unwound. So Lev knocks him out, steals the money in the safe but leaves the necklace purposefully

On page 45 something important happened, all 3 of the main character's stories mixed together cause them all to meet eachother Risa, Lev and Connor were all in the forest together. Before this Risa was on a bus to be sent to get unwound, Connor ran away and was in a truck that someone was kind enough to let him ride with them. Lev was a tithe so he was willingly going to get unwound.
