Another book that I really had, kinda still have, high hopes for.
Another book that is getting lots of ‘talk’ on booktok. Meh so far for me, but that little, small ‘But it’s got potential/Maybe it’ll get better’ in my head. *sigh

Really enjoying this series, but need a break. I definitely will come back to it.

I could not get into this. I did not feel a good connection with the characters. Just not for me.

I listened to this book. I am on the fence of this one. I found myself being easily distracted away from the story by my surroundings, which usually indicates to me I don’t like the book. This one comes so highly liked that I feel like I missed out….but that’s not unusual for me.

Maybe it being kind of heavy with violence towards all, including children, and based on true events, that made it hard for me.

It was ok. Not great, but ok. I found myself ready for it to be over.
