After a few months at Birkenau, Yanek is transferred to Auschwitz because they need more workers. On the prisoners’ march to Auschwitz, they stop at the train station, where new Jews with real clothes, luggage, and children arrive. Yanek feels deeply bad for the new Jews who arrive who will later look like him. One morning when Yanek wakes up to seeing a man dead. Him and another prisoner Fred also become friends.

In the Book Prisoner B-3087 the author Alan Gratz introduces the main charecter Yanek who is a 10-year old boy who is jewish. He lives in poland with his family. There is a night where Nazi soldiers take over his hometown and his father is confident that the war will end soon but his uncle names Moshe isnt as confident. After the Nazis take over Krakow which is Yaneks hometown it changes everything.

Although the Games have ended, Katniss still finds herself having to use strategy in order to survive. The Capitol is watching her very closely, and she can feel them trying to control her. Both Katniss and Peeta have won the hunger games,after it was announced that trbutes from the same district could win. This was a good thing because they were the last 2 and they didnt want to kill each other.

An important detail from the book Hunger Games is when Katniss continues to struggle against the tracker jacker venom which makes someone hallucinate. She is in a nightmare imagining that prim was dying, her fathers last moments and herself being torn apart. She eventually wakes up sore and with bumps all around her body from the stings. Another important detail is when Katniss is telling Rue about peeta saving her.

An important detail from the book the Hunger Games is when Katniss is shocked that Peeta joins the career tributes. She sees he is badly bruised and realizes he must have fought at the Cornucopia. While Peeta goes to check on the girl, the Career Tributes talk about killing. They wonder why Katniss scored an eleven in training, and as Peeta returns Katniss realizes he hasn’t told them about her skill with a bow.

A team of people wax Katniss’s body hair to prepare her for her stylist, Cinna. Cinna is quiet and modest. It was the first time. In the hunger games it is typical that they dress up reflecting on what district their from. Katniss’s and Peeta’s costumes will reflect coal’s main function, which is to burn. Her costume will be lit with a synthetic flame, and Cinna calls her “the girl who was on fire.”

One of the main characters in the book the "Hunger Games" is Katniss Everdeen. She is in district 12 and is a good hunter. Sometimes she crawls under the fence and enters the forest to hunt. It's illegal to hunt but no one pays attention. She meets her friend named Gale in the woods and start discussing about running away but they didn't because they are caretakers of their families and can't leave them alone.

One important part from the story is when he was upset because he didn't get the jacket he wanted. The speaker was describing how ugly his jacket looked. He also said he got bullied for it. "I stared at the jacket. I wanted to cry because it was so ugly and big".(1) This shows how Gary didn't like his jacket. He even threw it over the fence. He then realized that he had to be grateful and went to get it back.

He would also get bullied for his jacket in school."I stared at the jacket. I wanted to cry because it was so ugly and big that I knew I'd have to wear It a long time".(1) This explains how Gary didn't like his jacket. He was grateful.
