So far the book is sweet, the writing is not abysmal, but the pacing is getting to me, some chapters have a lot going on and others (most of them) are boring, a lot of showing instead of telling.

So I’m having problems with the MMC, he keeps leading the FMC on and on and it’s annoying af! Like my girl is basically and angel on way and everyone and they mama’s be walking all over her!! It hot ‘n cold 24/7 with him He wants her, but then he had a lot of baggage, but one can have her, but he kisses her and the tell her he was just using her to escape hid thoughts about his a DEAD FIANCÉ??? Like what??

Ok so far, I like it. The FMC is adorable and very likable, she’s sweet and with a traumatic background (honestly, Julia Wolf is very good at writing lovable FMC’s that have trauma lol)

As for the MMC, he’s kind of an ass, rude and an overbearing father, so of course he’s going to be an amazing love interest. I’m still on the fence about him tho, we’ll see.
