This is NOT a dark romance. It is more thriller/horror? I have 10% left of this book and honestly the whole thing is just VERY descriptive abuse and sexual assault. Her and the “main male character” haven’t even kissed. He also has barely any POVS in the book. There is no romance, it’s pure trauma.

So far this book is 90% her getting abused, sexually assaulted, and making excuses for her boyfriend doing said things….The plot? No idea, still trying to figure that one out.

I’m so confused on if this is even about a PenPal?? So far we are just fucking the roofer, doing some dom/sub, and dealing with paranormal stuff happening around the house. Who is Dante?! Why does it take 6 chapters just for her to respond to a letter then another 6 chapters for some cryptic weird letter back. None of this makes sense. That’s my rant.

I’m so confused but in a good way? I’m over the author using “I say” “he says” before they speak my god it’s annoying. BUT besides that….im giggling and kicking my feet
