Reading this for book club tbh and honestly I think it’s kinda mid. I feel like it’s juuuuust now starting to get juicy but like I’m a hundred pages in and we’re just getting there??? First 5 chapters felt drawn out tbh. I am not built for books outside of romantasy im sorry!

Little less than half way but I’m liking it! This is my first like dark romantasy book and it’s pretty good so far. This audiobook narrator is absolutely diabolical though

Ok interesting start. I’m normally like a fae romantasy girly but this is more like dark romantasy with vampires and what not. So I’m interested to see how I like it! For some reason I keep expecting the writing to be in first person but it’s not and it’s also just really throwing me off. Anyways!! To be continued.

Loving the balance between sexy romance and fantasy drama. Every time a romance scene ends though I just want to fast forward through the drama and fights and get back to it. Sooooo good. Officially half way through!!
