I keep finding new ways to understand and relate to this book. I’m really enjoying it!

This book has two of my favorite things… food and foreign men.

great! but a lot to keep up with, i feel like my brain is being warped

this book continues to have my jaw absolutely dropped. someone please read it so i can talk to you about it.

did you know the saying “men are from mars, women are from venus” dates back to early roman times? the ideal man was a strong and conquering warrior like Mars, the god of war. a perfect woman was sexually available and beautiful like Venus, the goddess of erotic love. because the romans treated women as inferior - an object, they weren’t even given first names. they had no identity. disheartening.

this book is phenomenal! only 3 chapters in and it’s doing a beautiful job of breaking down all the harmful “women are inferior” misconceptions that plague the world and church

this book won’t end. i’m so bored. uninspired. need to finish. don’t read.

is the best friend really trying to justify the cheating fiancé right now!!?????? come onnn. unreal.

only on chapter 5 but alex!? who is this guy?? he’s cringe
