Im confused but its still interesting?!?

Tried to revisit this after setting it down for awhile and i think its going to take awhile to finish. Im still intrigued by this book! But I hate the narration style. It feels like reading an oil pipeline safety manual. It’s sad, the concepts are so intriguing, I wish it was written in a more stylistic way :/

I got a bit bored with this series during the second book unfortunately. It was a good book with really interesting concepts and a wonderfully creepy atmosphere but I just don’t like Control much. He’s weird. In an annoying way.
Anyways, Acceptance is picking up by now! I restarted it and Im glad I did. I am enjoying it much more now than i did right after I finished Authority

I am restarting this. I plan to read one city before i go to bed each night and when i wake in the morning before school so i can process and interpret each city individually and let the book breathe. Reading it all in one go was not working for me personally and I think this way of reading it will be fun!
