I think autobiography was one of my favorite genres this year!!

Picking between “107 Days” and “The House of My Mother” for best memoir was an INCREDIBLY HARD choice! Ultimately, the messages of both books were nuanced and well developed. Imo, Kamala had better flow due to extensive training and career, however, Shari’s writing is so well developed for her age and experiences. So, I voted for Shari in hopes of uplifting her work and story! ^^
