1/3 of the way into the book and you won’t believe it he is finally on a lifeboat with a tiger 10/10 so far.

When you read a book? Do you ever, after reading a few pages, immediately trust the narrator of your story. Their prose just clicks. And you know that the journey you are starting on will be special.

Anyone else?

Anyways yeah book good so far.

I just can’t vibe with this book. Have I lost my way? Do I not remember what it was like to be a kid on a stranded island?! IDK

Book #1 completed. Thought will be added later. To keep it short. Liking it so far.

Week 3 of book club finished. Now to find out the true murderer.

Week 2 readings completed

I wish I could just read right through. But that defeats the purpose of our little murder mystery gang.

Book Club book #4 of the year

Slow going but enjoying

If Robert Frost had an existential crisis at the end of each chapter with a sailors vocabulary, you would get Ishmael.

Throughly enjoying.

Book Club #2, book 2 has been chosen. (Should name the book clubs)

May not be fledged out with all the latest information of our modern day. But gives a poetic vision of the meekness of our own being and the infinitude of the sky, that we have the honor of seeing.

Caught up with the book club. Not particularly vibing with the book and not outright abhorrent of it. Book feels really really condensed and throws in about 5 different systems that you just kinda accept at face value.

1/2 way through and got the setup, lets see where it goes.

Volume III

Somehow convinced me the beast is not only able to learn the French language confined in a hovel, but that he is endearing and likeable.

Part II

No one could have convince me that this book was somehow conjured by an 18 year old. Who was bored during a summer trip in the Swiss alps.

I won’t believe it.

Attempting to finish by the end of the month. Excited, but fearful of falling short. So far am really wrapped into the story. Continually surprised when old works of literature turn out to be good. (Probably should stop that)

Goal is to finish this book by the weekend

The book club has selected… Ring Shout!

Week 4 of book club

Decided to be cheeky and finish the section a full 12 hours before our meeting.

Week 3 of book club

“Nothing is what it’s supposed to be if love is not at the core”

Week 2 of bookclub

Already can tell this is gonna be one of my favorites of the year
