Week 3 of Book Club begins. The only qualm is forcing myself to slow down so I don’t just read through it in a week.

Justice will be had for the Radium Girls. Final part of the book. Haven’t shut up about this book to anyone who would listen.

Borrowed this book from a friend and am officially 2 pages away from a sticky note labeled “brain damage”.


I’m scared

Hard to get a consistent flow reading when I constantly am googling all the interesting tidbits I’m learning.

Week 2 of book club begins

First book club book of the year 🎊

Definitely hitting a slump with this one. Very interesting concept, but we seem to be going in circles talking about the same story of the leavers vs the takers. I was fine with it for the first 10 chapters but it’s still going. I have hope they will be breaking away from it soon.

The question is will I be able to finish by the new year.

Definitely one of the more interesting books I’ve read even from the concept alone.

One of the best parts of reading, in my opinion, as how it feels like a dialogue even as you read. Where you have a say in these philosophical ideas since you have time to let it marinate. Never felt that as much as this book. A lot to discuss.

Its slow going. Reading has been on the backburner.

Back at it again. Second time picking this up. I had a hope to be more consistent with non fiction.

Has shifted to just being an audio book during long runs. Still enjoying it, just taking in small bits.

Guys… maybe we shouldn’t be burying the pets at hat cemetery

It has now gotten to the point that it’s no longer about a family moving into a new house and having awesome neighbors

2 more essays left. Lesson to all those who get those ads “Hurry!! These great books are $2 or less limited time.” They sometimes work out

Taking my time knowing that I’m not ready for this to end

Started to get emotional knowing I’m about to finish the trilogy. Start of the end is near.


I am aware there are four more, but taking a break from the series after this one.

Ooooooooooooooo it’s gotten so good

Gives me the same tone as “The Last Lecture”. Just a book that wants you to take a step back and really fall in love with the small moments.

Entering Part 3, I understand why people say this book is so good
