No way thos book gets more than 2 stars for me. Would only be 1 but Im too close to finishing

Have to admit, thus far this book isnt drawing me in. It has taken me far to long to get 122 pages in.

This book is going to cost me a lot of money. So far I'm loving taking a break from horror and focusing on sci-fi and fantasy.

Everyone says this book is an step back for Brown. I'm only a 3rd of the way through and I couldn't disagree more. Sure you can tell the multi pov is mew to him but at the end of part one, I'm heavily invested.

So far multiple POVs is paying off. I care most for thr Darrow chapters, by Lyria's chapters give so much detail to a common misconception with talks of rebellion and thats "What happens if we win"

I feel people don't give this book enough credit. Im only 60 pages on and I'm loving it. I will openly admit that Brown spent 3 books training all of us to follow Darrow and now I feel like I am being asked to trust the process. I trust Brown and will trust his craft.

Lyra's point of view has me intrigued as currently it shows that the spoils of rebellion go to the architects. The world isn't as pure as he had hoped
