Alex Karp’s message to his colleague was blunt, “if your business model is destroying the employment prospects of entire classes of people while building vast data centers that compete with them for energy and water, you better be used to putting cameras, sensors, and weaponized robots at them because something is going to need to be done to control and contain all those surplus, desperate and angry humans.”
