Idk. This better make a serious turn for the better, because I am really confused so far as to why people raved about this one.

So far it’s not a dark fantasy romance. It’s a dark romance, with a hint of fantasy elements.

We will see.

I love Joey. And Aeofa. But man. These books are TOO LONG!
They would be 100 times better if they were cut in half. Literally.
A little too much backstory for each. I want to finish the series so bad, but the pacing is too slow for me.

I will pick this series back up later possibly, but I can’t handle 1700 chapters of stories. All of which lack significance.

I like parts of this series, but a lot of it is just not great to me.
I am debating on temporarily DNFing and maybe coming back to this series to give it another shot later.

Yuckkkkk. I am going to DNF this at 80%. I can’t ignore the fact that I’m rolling my eyes to the point of a migrane anymore. Annika can’t come back from that. I want to read the other stories, so I will continue the series, but I found myself skipping paragraphs and skimming from 72-80% because the ending of this is so awful.
And predictable.

I am going to throw my kindle into the wall and DNF this if Cray forgives Annika.
