So far, one of the most intriguing books I have ever read - the introduction to each character really allows me to embody and imagine these patients in my head - what their conditions entail, what they appear as, who they are and who they were prior to their time in the ward. Furthermore, the descriptions, as given through the perspective of Chief, really entrance me and allow me to picture myself in the story.
