my loan on this book expires tomorrow agh!!!!!

it’s only just now starting to get interesting at ~55% through. up until this point, the only thing keeping me from putting this book down were the post-apocalyptic descriptions of philadelphia.

this book is actually terrible. i’ve been dragging my feet in finishing it because of the poor quality of writing & character development.

most relatable line from the book was when phoebe’s ex-husband said, “i cried when the phillies lost the world series!” me too, matt. me too.

so far this book is just reminding me of that tumblr post from like 2014 that read, “i can’t kill myself because what if something cool happens”

enjoying this so far, but i wish the chapters were shorter. why was the aurora section 178 minutes?!
