Ignore my last update, if I read one more chapter everything I was iffy on would have come together. Back to regularly scheduled programming.

Tell me why I managed to get through moby dick without having to google things but this one has me all turned around. Still dope but getting a little annoyed flipping through previous chapters to look for some name to figure out who someone is.

I want this book to last forever. Can't wait to reread it in 10 years.

Steelkilt and Radney story was badass

Lake Erie mentioned. Cleveland mentioned.

So far a master class in characterization. Not sure I've ever read about characters as vivid as this.

Fart joke on page 4 lol.

The chaplain's telling of Jonah and the whale was way more exciting than any time I heard it in Sunday school.

Dope as hell so far

Regretting that I never finished this the first time. Fantastic so far

I think the chapter where he runs into the guy with a dead bull in the river by his house is one of the best chapters of a book I've read.

Dope as hell so far.

Dinosaurs :)

Picked up noticeably at about the 60% mark

I like this trilogy but I have a hard time keeping my eyes open while reading it.
