It was chapter 6, not 5, where the textbook turns into a Bible like magic.

I had such HIGH hopes for this book. The premise is fascinating & could have been fabulous. And…this book has errors. Like in your face, needed a way better team of editors, errors. (A textbook she’s reading turns magically into a Bible mid-chapter 5, among the setting & religious parts.) I’m continuing to finish so I can discuss with a friend, & I’m curious to see where it goes, but it is difficult.

It’s been life-altering so far!

Finishing Ness's chapter a few days ago brought unexpected tears. Loving this book.
