Chpt 1

I love the humor in this so far! The conversations feel real, like I and my queer friends cracking jokes and just talking normally with one another. The bar scene with Teddy and Kit where Kit says, "I can be your winglesbian." is 100% some dumb shit my friends would say.

My only gripe so far is the names Murray and Mallory (although far diffrent characters) are too similar for me.

Very excited to continue!

For a book that's litteraly just a smut filled short story with the 3 main characters it did ita job and did it well. Loved getting to see some Trans euphoria through getting to live the body he wants, even if for a shirt time, and some good smut with it.

Ya'll were right about Tamlin...

Love seeing Feyre stick up for the fae that need it. Breaking tradition by doing what's right because she can understand their struggles in a way Tamlin could never because of his status.

I appreciate seeing Feyre actually talking out her grievances and Tamlin take some initiative in trying to be better for her. Though I'm a bit lost as to why she wasted away a bit durring that last week.

I'm starting to feel very suspicious by how Tamlin is so dismissive over Feyre's concerns over this war and what could be her powers. She should learn how to be in control of herself. Understandable he doesn't want her on the battlefield but she's been proven to handle her own as a human, so as a fae she could kick ass. Rhys totally planted some seeds of doubt in here that makes me intrested to see next.

Feyre!!! Look what happened because you didnt tall about you're feelings and issues when you were supposed to. Now you've got to stay with Rhysand.

I will say I did enjoy the scene of him trying to teach her to read, that was fun and I liked the writing a lot there.

Also the wedding dress sounded absolutely horrendous, poor Feyre.

I feel so bad for Feyre. Please. PLEASE I beg you, talk to someone. You are suffering and bottling up your pain and trama like its nothing. You help brushing off your own torment and you need to vent. The writing throughout this is so good but it hurt. AAAAAHHH!!!

So you're telling me after the entirety of the first book with a quarter of a page worth of smut at the 2nd chpt theres like 4 straight pages??? I see how it is.

Also... starting to see how Tamlin is getting thoes red flags, I admit, but untill he does something irredeemable I'm still choosing him over Rhysand. I will stand my ground till proven otherwise.

Oh wow, I'm not sure I know what to say. That climax was a lot, I felt like I was watching this horror play out like I was Feyre. I could feel how her transformation felt so strange. From the horror to calm felt almost cathartic. And though I feel more could have been done I can see where thoes areas will open up to more exploration in the next book. I cant wait to see the dots continue to connect.

Maybe I just dont get it yet. Maybe I'll be eating my foot come the next book. But on GOD I hate Rhysland. Like I know somehow Tamlin is supposed to turn out to be an asshole but as of right now? I choose the man who'd lock me up in his house and make me paint evey day over the man that would drug me with fairy wine evey night. FUCK.
