I'M ABOUT TO FINISH A BOOK AFTER 2 YEARS Y'ALL

I am aware that I am reading a lot at the same time, but I only have a few days off so i gotta hUSTLE

The first part was really nice, part two is a bit of a let down so far. Not bad or anything, I just thought the first part was more interesting :)

Bought it today and read through almost half lol

Forgot to update, and just got the time to read awooo

slow reading because of research notes lol

Thoughts so far: it's not as boring as the other reviews had made it out to be, but it's not as interesting and challenging as kuang's other works

Is it still worth a read? Yes.

Although for me, the book became much more interesting halfway through.

I feel bad but also cLOCK HER HELEN, damn that was a struggle to read

makes me want to reread babel

And if falling in love was discovery, was letting yourself be discovered the equivalent to being loved?

I have lost the plot lmao reading it now makes it way more ridiculous than reading it continuously for the first time 😭
