hmmm all the characters sound a little different… not putting me off but i keep getting the feeling they would not have said that in the first book… whatever

robert jordan is clearly very interested in writing beautiful sentences. love it

the scifi is awesome, theres a beautiful alien body horror element going on, but he also keeps hitting me with like sjw millennialisms that are making me cringe a little like they feel out of place and a little patronizing considering how much he trusts reader intellect when it comes to the science. why is he holding my hand for the social justice aspect? i want to be showed not told pls
