im reading this to annotate it for a friend...and i'm remembering why i love this story so much. The characters have such a compassionate, gentle love that most books nowadays are missing. Give me more books like this. Also Jaella, if you're reading this, from what I know of Wendell, Roman is like my Wendell. Protect him at all costs and read this book.

Or should I say “banter”
It’s usually just her calling him bad words and he’s like “omg my silver savior” “my pretty Pae”
And then he kisses her and she’s like “omg no stawpppp im engaged to your brotherrrr”

if you haven’t read this you wouldn’t understand…but Lauren should’ve figured out a way that made more sense to get Paedyn to face peril again and again💀💀
