5 stars so far. Relatively easy to follow, good pace, great writing & great narration for the audiobook

It’s okay. Getting more interesting as it enters late 30s and into 1940 but I’m not as into it as I’d hoped.

I do be liking the shipwreck stories

Very good so far. Probably one of least biased biographies on Chiang that is accessible to those without a super academic background on modern Chinese history. Though It is difficult to keep track with the audiobook when much of the text is “place, name, place, time, name, place, name, date, name, name”
